Rip Tide is a son of Rotspon, one of the most influential Hanoverian sires of his generation — Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2017, winner of the 1998 stallion performance test, and a Celle state stud stallion until his retirement in 2021. His pedigree reads as a record of Hanoverian breeding itself: Rubinstein I over a mare by Argentan I, with Pik Bube I and Wendekreis behind.
With Rotspon's passing in 2023, Rip inherits his legacy — the same temperament, rideability, and quality of movement that made his sire so widely sought. Rip remains a stallion to preserve Rotspon's bloodlines in the United States.
